So I’m packing my makeup kit for a photo shoot tomorrow at the Royal Botanic Gardens in Edinburgh with Richard Boa. I tried to pack everything that I think I might need on a large PVC bag and failed miserably at it. I did managed to get most of the stuffs in but I had to put my cotton wools, sponges, q-tips, facial wipes, tissues, makeup removers and Beauty So Clean (cosmetic sanitizer) on a different bag! So I deep-cleaned by brushes tonight and sanitized my MAC brush belt for tomorrow’s job. Technically I have another photographer lined up after this but it isn’t fully confirmed yet. So let’s hope I hear more from her *fingers-crossed*
I realized that I've been spending too much time pestering photographers and recruiters lately it’s becoming a habit. Haha! I mean, a girl has gotta learn how to market herself right? I’m totally new to this “makeup as a career” thing and you know what, I’m loving it! Loving it too much in fact. I just love playing with colours and I enjoy seeing other people on funky makeup looks matched with funky outfits. It’s an incurable obsession I’m afraid. Right now my goal (well, career wise anyway) is to do makeup as a full time job.
And since I’m getting good at being a pest anyway, I think I’ll bring my camera tomorrow and ask him to get a few behind-the-scenes shot for my makeup *ehem, ehem* or maybe I could ask him to take a picture of me hiding behind a bush... or... or... I could behave myself? LOL. :P Just keep an eye out on my next post, I have to do loads of swatches anyway because I bought a bunch of new makeup today. So yeah, see ya!
